Had a company floating half day last fri, followed by a company official off on Mon. The long weekend holiday with Joshua alone, gave me a taste of being a stay-at-home-mummy.
Well, do I like it? Guess I enjoy playing and having fun with Joshua, teaching him new things. Yet also challenging. Having to wake up earlier than him, to wash up, prepare the ingredients for his lunch. My breakfast will be just a hot drink, or non, lunch will be whatever Joshua is eating. I don't mind actually, I love home cooked, natural tasting food!
Today, we had our little adventure. Brought Joshua to the saloon to trim his hair, so that he look good for his mini-bday party this coming Sun. Then met up with my mum, we drove to Vivocity. He didn't fuss to want to be in the front passenger seat with me, as he is always used to having me with him. He was behaving really well, and even doze off in his car seat. Also, He was all good in his pram throughout, must be the big crowd that is keeping him real occupied.
Came home, Deary was still at cell group prayer meeting, and had to change and bath him. Good thing my mum was around, and I was able to wash up before feeding him.
Now, the little guy is fast asleep, must be completely tired out.
I had a good time with him. Seeing him wave at every single kid he saw. Throwing 'fly-kiss' to every single person that wave at him. Doing is smile at everyone. And smooching me with him slimy kisses. Ah.....such a rewarding day :)
These are the little things that I really miss when I am at work.
